Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 August 2026
The Bag Archives PH is an online shop operated by Jericho D. Delas Armas and Lan Christopher D. Delas Armas. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you order from us, why we collect it, who else handles it, and the rights you have over it under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
| Information | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Your name, email address, contact number and delivery address | To confirm your order, ship it, and reach you about it |
| What you ordered and what you paid | To fulfil the order and keep a record of the sale |
| Any notes you add at checkout | Delivery instructions you choose to give us |
| Your IP address | To stop a single visitor reserving all of our stock at once |
We never see your card or e-wallet details. Payments are handled on PayMongo's own secure checkout. Your card number, GCash PIN and similar credentials are entered there and are never sent to, or stored by, this website.
We do not use cookies
Our storefront sets no cookies and does not run advertising or analytics trackers. Your shopping cart is kept in your own browser's local storage on your device; it is not sent to us as an identifier and it never leaves your browser until you check out.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of service providers to run the shop. They process your information only to provide their service to us:
| Provider | What they handle |
|---|---|
| PayMongo | Payment processing |
| Neon | The database holding your order |
| Vercel | Website hosting, product images and server logs |
| Brevo | Sending your order confirmation email |
Some of these providers store data on servers outside the Philippines. By ordering from us you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and processed abroad. We only use providers that commit to protecting it. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Order records: we keep order records for at least five years, so we can deal with disputes, payment reversals and warranty questions.
- IP addresses recorded against stock reservations: 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Order pages can only be opened with a long, unguessable link that is sent to you. The admin portal is restricted to the shop owner and is not indexed by search engines. Payment account details shown on the site are partially masked.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you have the right to:
- be informed about how your information is processed;
- access the information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have your information erased or blocked where the law allows;
- object to processing;
- obtain a copy of your information in a portable format (data portability);
- be indemnified for damages caused by misuse of your information.
To exercise any of these, email us at jerichoda@gmail.com. We will respond as promptly as we can. Please note we may need to keep records of a completed sale even after a deletion request, where the law requires it.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
Contact us
Email jerichoda@gmail.com, or message us on Instagram @thebagarchives.ph or on Facebook at The Bag Archives PH. Email is the best channel for privacy requests, because it gives us both a written record.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
